WILD FANTASTY – ONLINE VICTOR HUGO INSPIRED PORTRAIT COURSE WITH SISETTA ZAPPONE AND EMILY METALSKIN – NOV 2026

Join master printmaker and artist Sisetta Zappone- and the incredible Emily Metal Skin modelling live from the USA- for an online course which explores fantasy and narratives through fabulous imaginative sets, costumes and props – using beautifully fluid and expressive mediums and drawing techniques.

We will be looking to the drawings of  the incredible Victor Hugo for inspiration – his fantastical scenes, characters and incredible use of pen, ink and mark making – to create dark fantasy images. We will be working from wonderful sets created by Emily – which will allow for our imaginations to run wild!

Sisetta is a fount of knowledge with regard to materials and techniques – and incorporates a vast array of fantasy imagery into her own work. She will be leading us through exercises and processes with demonstrations and plenty of feedback which will feed your confidence in handling materials as well as creating imaginative imagery.
