Colour, brush work and texture – join us for an exploration of Schiele painting techniques- with fabulous models and costume!

Explore strong use of linear brushwork, texture and colour to bring a real sense of personality and depth to your portraits – with plenty of demonstrations and information on technique we will be taking a deep dive into Egon Schiele’s approach to the model – focusing on longer more sustained poses to allow for building more depth and complexity. Each week we will look at a different aspect of Schiele’s approach to painting-  line quality, brush work, composition and paint handling using either oils, acrylics or gouache.

There will be lots of demos and information on Schiele and his influences to really allow us to get into his process.

With fantastic models, looks and insightful teaching this really promises to be a super course with lots of portrait exploration Schiele style!
