Use all your senses for a drawing adventure around the fascinating objects of the collections at The Royal College of Physicians!

Description

We are really excited to have been asked to present a sensory drawing workshop inspired by ‘Unfamiliar’, an exhibition of photographs of medical objects from the RCP Museum collection.

This special workshop will awaken your mind’s eye and create new pathways between your eye and your hand. We will use all our senses to explore medical objects from a mixture of eras, drawing with touch, sound, sight and smell while at the same time learning about the histories of each object.

The workshop will include a tour of the Unfamiliar exhibition which explores objects from the RCP’s medical and fine art collections, co-curated by photographer Theo Deproost and physician associate Debbie Jegede.

Make the familiar unfamiliar and join us for a drawing adventure!
