Explore the fantastic potential of mark-making to create in depth portraits describing expressive physicality and character. We will be going into serious detail with layering to create tone and surface texture- building drawings from the inside out. There will be some anatomy and investigation of structure – all the components Da Vinci would have employed to build his drawings- plus we will be working in graphite and conte to recreate the sensitivity of his work.
Drawing from the model with plenty of demonstrations and one to one tuition, this is a great chance to build on your portrait knowledge with Dolph- so much to learn!
