Join us for a fantastic new Still Life Painting workshop with the great Laura Smith

Laura will be leading us through gestural painting, using markmaking and layering of paint to create confident paintings. Starting with how to place objects to create flow and juxtaposition, we will be working from a variety of simple still life set ups. We will be using techniques to build your confidence in drawing with paint, and spending time building compositions of shape, light and colour

With plenty of demonstrations and lots of individual tuition – you can take this class to your own level and really improve your confidence in painting.
A great day of creativity – perfect for beginners and ideal for those wanting to brush up on skills and learn more.

About Laura Smith
Laura studied at the Slade school of Art for her BA and MA, and has exhibited extensively across London and the UK as well as Europe. Her painting is mainly still life and life- with a strong focus on colour, working in oils and watercolour. She currently tutors at Prince’s Foundation and has tutored at the Slade and the Royal Drawing School.
