PLASTICINE PORTRAIT – WITH WILFRID WOOD: 18 MAY

£110.00

Get to grips with portrait in a completely new way!

Join us for a day of undoing and in doing so, getting to the heart of portrait as we draw and sculpt, playing with materials and techniques. This day will build confidence in yourself and bring life and expression into your practice.

This is a great workshop to really challenge your grasp of portrait through drawing into 3D structure. We will be working with simple materials and processes – but the main premise of the workshop is rooted in principles of sculpture- with out the constraints of cumbersome materials like clay or bronze. The day will involve lots of drawing as well as as sculpting and will cut to the heart of portrait, allowing you to start to hone in on likeness through identifying the idiosyncrasies of the face.

Our workshops with Wilfrid are an exploration into fun experimentation where communication is as important as your medium.

This is a super way of building on your drawing skills – A great refresh and injection of new ideas and approaches-

Ideal for all levels of ability-
