LIFE DRAWING & ANATOMY – SILVERPOINT & CONTE: WITH DOLPH VAN EDEN – SATURDAY 8 MARCH 2025

Join fine artist and London Drawing tutor Dolph Van Eden for a day of fine drawing and detail using the beautifully delicate medium of silverpoint and the brilliantly versatile conte

We will work from the model with descriptive mark making and tone to describe the finer detail of the body using the lovely fluid medium of Silverpoint- preparing paper and exploring the potential of this medium can really build your observational skill and finer control in drawing.

We will also use conte to render stronger tones and explore anatomy and tone in more depth

Dolph is a master of anatomy – and has so much to share with regard to the subject. Learning more about anatomy is the key to achieving a strong physicality in your drawing, and is so good for creating images which feel real and 3 dimensional. Learn about tone and building volume and physicality creating layers of tone and markmaking.

With plenty of demonstrations and individual tuition – this is a great day of drawing exploration for all abilities
