HANDS IN FOCUS – ONLINE DRAWING COURSE WITH JOSIE DEIGHTON

Drawing hands from the inside out – join us for a deep dive into these complex structures to improve your understanding- and improve your drawings!

Join London Drawing tutor Josie Deighton for a step by step journey through the physical layers of the hand to create convincing and 3 dimensional drawings with confidence. Learn to really break down the structures of the hands to create drawings from the inside out and through improving your understanding and knowledge and simple anatomy, construct drawings with serious depth. We will be drawing from a mixture of photographs and live model.

This course is full of demonstrations, visual references, guided drawing and practical feedback- with opportunities for questions and reflections. Participants will have opportunities to email their drawings to Josie for review and each session will include a recap and feedback on previous drawings.

The sessions will also be recorded to you can re-watch, pause, rewind and repeat.

Guaranteed to open up your drawing practice and help you to draw hands in any position under any time conditions, this course is accessible for every skill level.

Drawing materials:
pencil / charcoal / graphite
You may also use colours – useful for building layers – coloured pencils or pens for example
