GETTING TO KNOW A FACE: CAPTURING THE HEAD IN GRAPHITE WITH SUSANNAH PAL – APRIL 2025
£95.00
Getting To Know A Face is a series of online portrait drawing courses which take a deep dive into mastering not only the drawing of individual features – but into the features of individual faces. With each edition we work with a particular model to explore the landscape of their face, taking in the complexities of their features, idiosyncrasies and characteristics. This is a fabulous chance to build your versatility with regard to building a likeness- perfect for honing your observational skills to a fine level.
Each edition will consist of two course sections-
Portrait In Detail: A series of classes working on individual features
Capturing the Head: A follow on series of classes working on one whole portrait.
While both courses are standalone, taking them together will give you the ultimate mastery of portrait drawing.
For this edition we will be working with one of our favourite models – Boyko.
