Work produced in a Mindful Still Life session with Susannah Pal

This class was a fun way to spend a lockdown working from home lunchbreak! I found feeling what you are about to draw- especially with the tongue which seems to make everything feel bigger- was a very different experience. It reminded me of a cool school art class!

The drawing I produced here has a dreamlike feel to it, and a different way of doing an observational drawing which Susannah was very good at explaining and demonstrating.

The yoga introduction which was later introduced to these sessions helped to settle our focus ready to draw – well it did mine for sure as I popped in on my lunch hour!!
