LIFE DRAWING PORTRAIT AND ANATOMY- WITH DOLPH VAN EDEN: 10-12 September 2024
We are delighted to announce a very special two day drawing intensive with the incredible model Andrea Morani – with tuition and guidance by London Drawing tutor and fine artist Dolph Van Eden.
Andrea Morani is one of the most sought after models on the international life drawing scene- he has worked with artists such as Shane Wolf, Wendy Artin and Ron Hicks to name a few- and is truly inspirational. Creating with Andrea really is like stepping back into Renaissance Italy!
Our two day intensive will involve a drawing study day on day one- intensive drawing practice including anatomy, tonal rendering and silver point technique. Tutor Dolph is a specialist in fine art drawing an will provide detailed demonstrations and tailored one to one tuition with plenty of feed back to allow you to take the session to your own level.
Day two will feature one long pose- and will offer you the freedom to persue your own practice with guidance from Dolph. You can decide on your own approach – painting, drawing in your chosen medium – and put into practice techniques practiced in day one- or allow you the creative freedom to work on a more sustained composition. Dolph will focus on one to one tuition and lead the group through the day with group feedback.
We will work with Andrea to create a spotlit, chiaroscuro set dressed with fabrics and textures to allow you to really make the most of the day long pose.
