Join us for a special online Anatomy Foundations course with London Drawing tutor and life drawing anatomy specialist Dolph Van Eden

In this course we will be focusing on Anatomy and foreshortening – so we will be working on the 3D-ness of the body and what happens when the model sits down / lies down and the distortion that happens when the body comes towards you or recedes away.

We will be taking a deep dive into life drawing and anatomy – working through structure and muscularity, learning to recognise and visualise the physicality of the body to build real depth into your drawing. Understanding of the anatomy of the body is the key to creating convincing and confident life drawing- and is invaluable regardless of your style. Depth of physical understanding will inject a 3D-ness to your drawing which will inform tone, volume and foreshortening.

Understanding anatomy is crucial to mastering foreshortening – this is a fascinating chance to bring real depth into your drawing and navigating foreshortening will feel so much easier as a result!!

Packed full of demonstrations and information this is a great chance to develop your life drawing into something special!

Recordings will be included- released after each class and available to re-watch, pause,  re-wind and re-cap as many times as you like for one month.
