The Royal Society of Physicians

Join us for a very special creative anatomy life drawing workshop in partnership with The Royal College of Physicians to coincide with the museum’s current exhibition: ‘Ceaseless motion: William Harvey’s experiments in circulation’.

This promises to be a very exciting evening of drawing as we work alongside rare books and archives as well as original iconic illustrations by anatomists and physicians which will be on display especially for the class. Participants will be able to view dramatic woodcuts showing the muscles of the body from Andreas Vesalius, Matthew Baillie and William Hunter, with expert knowledge on-hand from the RCP museum team. You will also have access to the exhibition during the workshop.

Draw from life with a live model and really explore the fabric of the human body from the inside out using a range of fun and imaginative drawing processes.

Booking is essential and places are limited. Suitable for all levels of ability.
