Join us for an exciting portrait class exploring mini portraits 18th Century style with artist Rachel Mercer! Pick out your finest brushes and prepare for some serious detail!
Portrait Miniatures we given as love tokens or to loved ones as jewellery or in lockets- and are a lovely way to explore portraiture
Combine traditional observation with a modern, experimental approach to materials. Use whatever materials you have to hand (biros, marker pens that set of watercolours you’ve never used) to create a self-portrait filled with life and expression. Let by contemporary oil-painter Rachel Mercer.
About our Tutorial Tool Box Sessions:
Draw and create along side a range of artists in a variety of taster workshops. These sessions are a great insight into artists working practice and provide a space to explore and experiment with new mediums and approaches – a useful chance to play and explore in order to develop your own creative practice and build your confidence in a range of media.
The sessions are a perfect complement to our Life Drawing and Portrait classes.
