Explore space and drawing in this fantastically creative 3D drawing session!
Use string, a cardboard box and drawing materials in this experimental drawing workshop focused on observing and abstracting space. really take your drawing into new directions by looking at negative and positive space and considering ways to de-construct and re-construct drawings. Super fun and super creative what ever your skill level!
Rebecca Griffiths @rebeccagriffiths_artist is a London based artist and educator. Rebecca studied sculpture at the Royal College of Art and her practice is based in ceramics and 3D construction. She has so much to offer with regard to contemporary drawing and making – dont miss the chance to work with this fascinating artist in this special workshop Rebecca has formulated just for us!
About our Tutorial Tool Box Sessions:
Draw and create along side a range of artists in a variety of taster workshops. These sessions are a great insight into artists working practice and provide a space to explore and experiment with new mediums and approaches – a useful chance to play and explore in order to develop your own creative practice and build your confidence in a range of media.
The sessions are a perfect complement to our Life Drawing and Portrait classes.
For the workshop you will need:
Pencil/charcoal or ink
Lamp for directional lighting is also helpful
