We are delighted to be working with city artist and urban chronicler Ed Gray for a special one day workshop. Take your drawing out into the world as we explore the urban landscape and peoples lives in it using sketch books and drawing. Then work up your drawings in the studio using mixed media- collage, drawing and paint to create exciting, expressive and dynamic compositions.
Ed Gray has been described as a ‘modern day Hogarth’ by the Huffington Post- and is an artist who has an empathy and eye for the real life of London- capturing the city with dynamism and sensitivity. Ed is a great tutor with over 20 years experience and has a lot to offer with regard to taking your work into new directions and exploring your city through drawing.
Our first session will be based in and around Lower Marsh – home to London Drawing and a fascinating area with a rich history on the cusp of regeneration. Join us!
